I found this book extremely fascinating! It is so interesting to me what people build and what people stop to see on their travels!!! I want to see some of the things in this book!

I hated this book. I couldn't stop reading it. I was suckered into the cheap tricks between chapters: "And then, he jumped." (I don't know if that's actually a line from the book, but it is in the same spirit of reader manipulation.) The plot? Interesting. The writing? Irritating.

This is fast becoming a family favorite...

The best chapter is the one on Social Security. And while I appreciate the history, I wish the book had gone more in depth later.
