I found the story's leaps through time to be confusing. At one point it was so jarring that I thought the chapters of my audiobook had gotten mixed up. The reader never gets any sense of why jobs and relationships have ended - all of a sudden the main character is on to other jobs and relationships several years down the road. I still basically enjoyed the book in spite of all this, I just didn't understand the point of it all.
