I was hooked on the first chapter. I loved all of the characters and couldn't wait to read more.

Love it. Her best, I think.

Really I give it a 3.5... It was good, interesting story. but there were some slow parts, and parts that weren't explained well... But I'm looking forward to reading the other books.

If you are looking for a story of Marilyn Monroe's life, this isn't it. I still recommend it, but it is what it claims: an encyclopedia about her. The author has done a wonderful job of representing the facts as facts while presenting theories as, well, theories. It's nice book to pick up and read a portion here and there, but not particularly straight through. It's well-written and will keep you entertained, but it is a lot of information to absorb. Definitely a must read for Marilyn fans or those a little curious about her.
