This was good, and a roller coaster of emotions, but the hype may have overtaken it's actual value...Definitely worth reading, but I don't know about the "sequels". I liked "Five People You Meet in Heaven" better, but that's probably because I'm obsessed with anything relating to boardwalk society, circuses, traveling shows, and Coney Island between 1900 and 1950.

Such a sweet little book, especially for young children living in the Seattle area (or maybe for future travelers). My only question: why are the kids at the Seattle Public Library running around with their books in the rain?? Protect your books!!!

I have really enjoyed reading books of the Dresden Files so far. They are fast and entertaining, with a combination of dry, witty humor and page-turning action. They have filled a niche in my reading where I used to put the Laurel K. Hamilton books until they became exclusively about sex (such a disappointment). Harry Dresden is a wizard and uses his magical skills in his day job as a PI to take care of the mundane things like rent and food. But his clients bring him all sorts of unusual problems, and inevitably, all hell breaks loose! I totally recommend these fun reads by Jim Butcher to anyone.
