Really enjoyable and interesting read. I learned a lot about Condi. I thought she was a great lady before, but now I have a whole new respect and admiration for her.

So difficult to read at the beginning, once I got into this I loved it and still think about it today.

YA Fantasy. Sophie is the eldest of three sisters and doomed to a life of boring servitude...until the Witch of the Waste puts a horrible curse on her and forces her to leave home. This is such a fun book, and I know I sound like a Reading Rainbow reviewer, but it's just clever and funny and vivid and a lot of fun to read. The characters are likable and real and the language is full of energy. You have to love a book with a wizard that spends two hours primping in the bathroom every morning. Its only flaw is that the ending is a little rushed. Five stars for being a kids' book that treats the reader like an adult. Will definitely read again.

A solid advice book. Not as fun as "The Big Bang," but I'd recommend this for people self-conscious about buying anything in the "sexuality" section of the bookstore.
