a good reference for those interested in low carb way of life. Helps one choose from the current low-carb plans or has tips in the back of the book for starting out on your own.

Delight. Mr. Hemmingway as an expat in Paris. Learn secrets of people like, oh, the Fitzgeralds and that you'd heat your apartment (?) with wood. Also, my all time favorite idea, that "the beer tastes good today" even though it's the same beer every day.

Wow what can I say! When reading a squeal to a book you loved you always wonder "will it measure up to the first?" I have to say that Second Grave was just as fabulous as First Grave. I am in love with Charley Davidson! I want to have coffee with her :) We find Charley up to her old antics getting into trouble or trouble finding her at every turn. And as always Reyes is drool worthy and a little frustrating (but aren't all the best men?). The ending will leaving you open mouthed and dieing for the third installment. These books have earned a spot on my "If there was a nuclear blast I would lug these books into a bunker" shelf. Thank you Darynda Jones for allowing us entrance into Charley's world. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Enough book references to make any bibliophile feel like they are in heaven. This volume finds Thursday Next living in books with all of the intrigue that she hoped she left behind. Not as clever as the last novel but still fascinating.

This is one of my favorite books. I first read it a decade ago and still read it every once-in-a-while. The main character is a determined young woman that learns to adapt and not give up, regardless of how different she might be from others. Excellent historical setting, catchy romance and a paranormal twist.
