Bunu neden Cashore'un son kitabı Graceling'den daha çok sevdiğimden emin değilim. Stil, ilerleme hızı ve içerik açısından çok benzerlerdi. Bence kahramanın daha savunmasız ve güçlü olmasını sevdim. İki kitap arasındaki bağlantı hoş bir dokunuştu ve hala (önceki kitapta tanıtılan) villian'ın cildinizi taramasını sağlamak olduğunu düşünüyorum. İyi bir yaz okudu. Not to sound like a snob or anything but this was the first bit of genre fiction I've read in about 10 years. I picked it up after watching red riding on channel 4 and was pleasantly surprised. It's all very fast and brutal, and if you read it quick enough it feels like you've been assaulted in some way. Highly amusing to see west yorkshire given the noir treatment and strange for me, given that I live there and pass through a number of the book's locations on a daily basis.

Eh, this was okay. I liked how there were designs and drawings throughout the book, otherwise it was kind of predictable.
