I thought it would be more interesting because I absolutely loved Going Solo, Dahl's tale of his war years in the RAF. However, this book spends an awful lot of time name-dropping famous British people. As in "oh did you know the Earl of Gloucester's son Sedgewick the III was also involved in the spy effort in the US? And he was friends with Ian Fleming? Oh...and this other famous old man was also involved." This might be slightly interesting to me... except I am not British.
