This is one of those books that once I finished I can't keep from thinking about. I loved it, but I had one problem: there was no closure. The book just sorta... ends. Towards the end it seems like they're embarking on this adventure to more or less save the world, but it sounds like the author was trying to make it sound so final. Sequal, hm? I absolutley loved Millard, he was probably my favorite character, even though he was pretty minor in the whole plot line. He made things a bit more humorous in one of those "I'm going to more or less use my own weakness as a disadvantage for you" kind of ways. I would definately like to see more of him (well actually hear more about him, but I won't exactly say why for sake of spoilers) in a later novel. Also, that Doctor Who reference made my life better. Aaaaaand.... PICTURES!!! Finally a young adult book that uses obscure vintage photos to give you a better idea of the characters and scenery to understand plot. (I'm a fan of Oddities so vintage freak show stuff makes me happy) All in all a great read.

Feels like all of his other books. Something bad happens, main character becomes a detective and finds out what is happening, saves the day at the end. But once again I liked all the realistic medical stuff.
