This is a long novel, but well worth it. The ending is rather drab, but the rest of the book is fantastic. You are transported to another era through the eyes of a child, wrapped up in nostalgia. Fabulous character development.

What a great girl! Smart, evil, funny... reminds me of her Roald Dahl namesake, with a little bit of mystery wrapped into the book.

Short and sweet addition to the series. I love the characters and so each book is entertaining and fun.
